Almost a year ago Bethany scheduled her Senior Recital at Grove City College for Presidents' Weekend. Saturday February 14, Valentine's Day turned out to be a day of "sweet music" for all of us who filled the Pew Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.

Bethany's program of piano music consisted of "Toccata in G Major" by Johann Sebastian Bach, "Sonata in C Minor, Op.13 ("Pathetique")" by Ludwig van Beethoven, "Liebestraum No. 3" by Franz Liszt, and "Sonatine" by Maurice Ravel. Of course she played beautifully and we were all in awe of her wonderful talent, how fast her fingers fly across the keys, and the many hours of rehearsal to memorize that much music!

Willis and I were so pleased that Josh's parents Walt and Pat Mayo could join us in Grove City for the Recital and for the weekend.

Thank you dad! It was such a surreal time for me-- very nerve racking and intense, but very wonderful to be so supported! It was a joy to have all of the encouragement :) Thanks mom and dad for your help!
